Getting to the Church
Mt. Horeb is located on Old Cherokee Road just past the intersection
of Old Chapin Road. Enter the main door at the columns for
directions to the sanctuary, nursery, and all classes.
How should I dress?
While some folks like to wear their "Sunday Best", many wear
comfortable and casual clothes on Saturday evening, Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
During the summer months, we especially encourage folks to dress appropriately
casual.
Do I need to bring
anything?
If you have a Bible, bring it so that you can follow along
during the service. If not, there are Bibles located in the pews.
If you need one, please feel free to take one home with you as our gift.
When should I get there?
Our Saturday evening contemporary service begins at 5:45 pm and ends
by 7:00 pm. There are classes for all children through 5th grade.
Our Sunday morning services begin at 8:00 (traditional), 9:00
(contemporary), and 10:30 (traditional). There are Sunday School
classes and small groups available at each time. It is best to arrive 10 to 15
minutes ahead of time to allow for parking.
What about my children?
Mt. Horeb has fabulous preschool, children, and youth ministry
programming available. The Welcome Team at the front doors will be
happy to help you get your children to the proper classes. Our
preschool ministry cares for children from birth to kindergarten. Our children's ministry has special worship for kids at 9:00 and 10:30 in the Fellowship Hall or
children may come to worship with their parents at 10:30 and be escorted to children's church after the children's sermon. Middle
school and high school students meet during the 10:30 hour. |
