The Journey is Mt. Horeb’s Spiritual Growth pathway for Adults.  The first stage in our Journey up the Mountain is Gather. Each of us Gather  at Mt. Horeb via various venues –through events, weekend services or through one of our small groups. Gathering in large groups is good, but it is only a beginning… what’s next?
 
A great place to begin is Starting Point – you will learn the vision of Mt. Horeb, how to get connected, as well as meet the staff and other newcomers.   There are three Starting Point Classes in the Spring and Fall Semesters every year.  For current Starting Point Classes, click here to scroll through our list of groups, then select one of our available Starting Points for more information. 
 
The next stage on your Journey is Grow.  Growing looks different for each of us.  We have two paths for growth:  Life Classes or Life Groups.  For a complete list of all our Classes and Groups, click here.  For a more detailed description, click the title of the class or group that interests you. 

If you want to register for either a class or a group, scroll through the available groups, click “Request Info” beside the group you want, and under the “Comments” box, type “Register Me.” 
 

Life Classes:  Some of us begin the journey with lots of questions… “How do I grow as a believer, parent, or spouse?” “Where do I begin with reading the Bible?” Some questions come out of challenges… divorce, finances, grief.  Life Classes may be workshops or semester long classes.  These serve two purposes:  growth and connection. You will gain valuable information as well as meet others who have similar questions.   
 
Life Groups:  The second and primary path to grow is a Life Group. Life Groups are our primary vehicle to provide care and growth.  Life Groups – made up of people with common ground – life stage, gender, neighborhood, serving – meet in various locations throughout the week (including Sunday mornings at Mt. Horeb). 
 
In a Life Group, you grow closer to God, fellowship, serve, and reach others with the good news of Jesus.  Our Goal is for every person to be involved in a Life Group.

The final step in the Journey is not an end but a beginning.  We encourage you to GO! Go on a mission trip, start a new small group, serve in the community.  Go, spread the Good News of the difference Jesus has made in your life!
