ELEVATE Sunday Morning 10:30 – 11:30 – (Youth Room) This is the time we really try to dig into the word and figure out what’s really being said in the Bible. This is a great time for middle school kids (7th and 8th grades) to grow in their knowledge of the Bible and their relationship with God. Of course your in middle school and we understand that so we make sure we make this time fun.
ELEVATE Wednesday Night 6:00-7:30 – Youth Room Living for God is fun!!! If you don’t believe me, come check us out!!! Students can enjoy snacks from the Cafe (bring some $$), awesome live music, wild games, an encouraging message and a great time to hang out with your friends. This is the place for all 7th & 8th graders to be on Wednesday Nights!

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS -
SUMMIT: Sunday Night
Who: High School Students
What: Our Sunday Nights are geared toward high school students. Come enjoy a smoothie or candy from the Café while you experience high energy worship and relevant teaching. A little later, a little louder, and a little more sugar, this is the place to invite your friends! Our goal is to help students establish their faith in Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, and teaching.
When: Sunday Nights from 6:30-8:00pm, Jan 8 through April 29

SUMMIT: Sunday Morning
Who: High School Students
What: Students have a great opportunity to be challenged and grow on Sunday mornings. We will be studying our way through books of the Bible such as Romans, Colossians, and Acts through a systematic mix of large group teaching, group discussions, and student feedback. Just in case all that isn’t good enough, enjoy breakfast provided by parents and our new portable Café!
When: Sunday Mornings from 10:30-11:30am, Jan 8 through April 29
Where: Family Life Center (Gym)
Servant Leadership Team (SLT)
Who: High School Students
What: SLT is a group of students who are wholeheartedly committed to Christ and interested in the overall health and impact of this student ministry. It is important that anyone seriously contemplating this team be thoroughly convinced of their desire to serve and have a heart for other people in your sphere of influence. This student leadership team will be lead by five different adult ministry leaders to bring about a deep and wide ministry focus. You may choose to serve in one of the different “tracks”: Y-PIT (Youth Pastor In Training), Service, Hospitality, and Drama.
When: Wednesdays from 4:30-5:15 pm, January 11 through April 25 (More dates may apply depending on track)
Where: The Miller’s (321 Mooring Lane, 29072)
Base Camps
Who: High School Students
What: If you’re looking to get to know a smaller group of people, there is no better place than Summit’s Base Camps! Also known as “small groups” or “bible studies”, this commitment is a chance to study God’s Word with friends and mentors at a time and day that fits into your schedule. Experience the fellowship, discipleship, and just plain fun starting in January. Grab a friend and pick a Base Camp that works for you! Get Served
Who: High School Students
What: This Spring, high school students will continue to be able to serve with L.I.F.E. Kids, our Children’s Ministry at Mt. Horeb on Wednesday Nights. Students will meet with Vicki Reke prior to serving in the children’s classrooms for a bit of leadership training. If you would like to serve in this life-changing way, please contact Vicki: vicki@mthorebumc.com. You will be considered a children’s ministry volunteer and will be instructed directly from the children’s ministry staff.
