The Lighting Designer is responsible for curating the visual atmosphere in all worship venues on our campus in a way that supports and enhances performance and communication elements of any given service or event. We desire a candidate with proven creative experience and a heart for ministry. We hope you will prayerfully consider joining our Production Team.

  • Design & program lighting elements in support of all worship services and events
  • Design & implement stage designs in coordination with technical director
  • Generate & update lighting documents, i.e. patch list, hookup chart, power plot
  • Train & develop volunteers across worship venues
  • Attend weekly production meetings, rehearsals
  • Research & implement new technology as our spaces grow and change
  • Oversee & manage the repair and maintenance of lighting equipment
  • Manage inventory of all lighting assets across campuses and storage facilities


  • Exhibit Christian character and love for Jesus Christ.
  • 3+ years of production experience with focus on AVL or other relevant field
  • High attention to detail
  • Clear ability to communicate
  • Love working with a team as much as you love working with technical equipment
  • Strong understanding of modern lighting design/theory & lighting consoles


  • Prior church staff or Christian non-profit experience
  • Undergraduate degree in audio, video, lighting, or other relevant field
  • Prior experience with Vista or MA Lighting products
  • Prior experience with WYSIWYG R41 or newer
  • Prior experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere & motion design
  • Prior experience with Resolume Arena
  • Prior experience managing and deploying video walls
  • Prior experience with live video cameras, directing, & switching
